Dr. Thomas has been selected as one of the  "Top Doctors of America" by the Independent Consumer Research Council, in "Top Chiropractors of America", in both 2008 and 2009.

Dr. Thomas has been in the practice of Chiropractic for over thirty-five years and utilizing acupuncture for the past eleven years. He is a Diplomate in the prestigious International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and holds a Certification in both Chiropractic and Acupuncture from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. In addition, he is a member of the testing committee of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and served on their Acupuncture test writing committee. He currently serves as Vice-President of the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is chairman of the Acupuncture Advisory Committee. In addition, he also holds a Certification for Texas in acupuncture with studies at Texas Chiropractic College. He serves as an acupuncture web consultant for various sites related to fibromyalgia and infertility.

He has been married to his bride Nancy for over 35 years and has a daughter Heather who is a Licensed Master Social Worker and works with the homeless. He was reared in Corpus Christi, attended W.B. Ray high school, Southwest Texas State and Texas Chiropractic College. He served in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps as a corpsman and dental tech and served a tour in Vietnam. He is an eagle scout and holds an Advanced Class Amateur Radio License (W5ECK). Dr. Thomas enjoys woodworking and kayak fishing.

Dr. Thomas is available to talk to local groups on chiropractic and acupuncture at most any level.  

While actively pursuing extensive investigative research in various conditions, he continues with clinical research in his daily practice. With the knowledge of the old and technology of the new, he is able to blend them together to provide a quality program of care for his patients.

He utilizes the latest in health care equipment and has added the state-of-the art electro-meridian imaging computer units which has allowed for more accurate and quicker analysis of the patients imbalances.
