I feel that a patient should respond in some positive fashion after the fifth treatment. A usual course of care is 8 treatments. The length depends on how long you have had the condition. Consider that you have a cut on your finger, if you clean and bandage it immediately, you will probably recover quickly. However, if you neglect it and it gets infected (chronic), it will take longer to heal. It is the same with any condition. So the degree of neglect determines the length of time for the body to recover. The big advantage is that when the body heals itself (through acupuncture), it tends to stay healed.

These conditions time frame depends upon the results of the electro imaging graph.This computerized printout will direct the placement of the needles, and that, in conjunction with a history and exam, will provide more accurate diagnosis on an individual basis. That may, in turn, decrease the usual treatment time
